Jersey needs to get people out of their cars
MORE needs to be done to reduce the number of people driving to work, the Transport Minister has said.
Speaking following the publication of the Jersey Annual Social Survey, which showed that more than half of Islanders drive to work, Deputy Eddie Noel said that people need more incentive to use other modes of transport.
The survey, released earlier this week, has shed light on how Islanders go about their daily lives – including their travel arrangements.
