States Websites Empty States Websites

Islanders might soon be able to do a lot more of their daily-dealings with government via the internet.

The States is planning a major overhaul of its websites.

It's looking for a partner to come in and redesign them.

Director of Information Services Neil Wells says it'll mean we can do many more transactions online such as booking sports facilities and registering cars.

And it's hoped bringing together the existing 28 government websites will save money (from channel103)

The word is "hope" somehow I don't see it saving money....

I'm showing my age, but I remember when they were last re-designed... wait, I still young; it was only a year ago!
