Spate of vandalism continues

A spate of criminal damage incidents is continuing in St Martin's, Guernsey.

In recent weeks bottles have twice been thrown through panes of glass at the Escalliers Vinery.

And on four separate occasions airgun pellets have been fired at the windows of houses and a car at Rue des Grons.

Police patrols in the area have been stepped up. (from CIonline)

well if the police are increasing patrols..........that means the problem will get worse.......

I will say one thing that annoys me is they say more patrols but that usually means they drive around more . Imo the police should get out of their car and walk around a bit that way they may have a chance of catching someone. You must remember when we were kids if you saw a cop car you would hide whether you had done something or not.

your so right there Digger.r they taught to get out of their cars and walk........these r BIG skill and needs both confidence and reassurance........oh and the need to put down their takeaway meal……..bless em………
