Deputy Dave Jones says that the States sent a clear message to C&E
that they want the situation resolved. At the time he said that if it
wasn't, they should consider their positions untenable. Speaking to
Island FM this morning Deputy Jones says he standing by those calls. He
backed an amendment, approved by the previous house, to ensure milk
retailers had full exclusivity. Commerce and Employment are now asking
the States to deny them those exclusive selling rights when it comes to
supplying commercial customers with milk by-products.
