'Free sex toys for top Olympians'
A Vancouver sex shop has announced plans to celebrate the city hosting the 2010 Winter Olympics by offering free gifts to athletes and fans.
Womyns'Ware on Commercial Drive is offering a 10% discount to all event ticket holders, a free sex toy guide to all accredited passholders, a 'cl*t pod' to all medal winners and a free 'Slip Kit' to all registered lugers.
Store co-owner Janna Sylvest told 24 Hours Vancouver: "Both sex and sporting activities are excellent cardiovascular endeavours.
"Statistically I've read that sex is more often engaged in during the winter months, just like the luge."
A statement on the company's website read: "Sexuality is part of the human condition... Can't see why athletes, locals and tourists would STOP being sexual during the games!"
Vancouver Organising Committee relations manager Sebastien Theberge said: "We respectfully decline the opportunity to comment." (from DS)
