Skateboarders and BMXers wanted

Skateboarders and BMXers are being asked for their input to the design for a new skate park in Guernsey.

The Extreme Sports Association has been given permission to build a park in place of this children's playground at Beau Sejour.

The UK designers are coming to the island this weekend, and want input from local riders before they finalise their plans.

They will be at Beau Sejour between 11am and 3pm on Saturday 30th January.

I hope it goes well and they will raise the money needed for this project .they have had over 20 years to save up so it should be good .
and once it is built with there own money i am sure those who raised the money will treat it with respect .the other muppets will carry on using the liberation monument!

Total waste of time, in my opinion.
They won't use it. Look at the BMX track that was built some years ago, unused (apart from the radio controlled model car club)

lets hope you are wrong steve19, i think its great, the only thing im gutted about is its 25y to late for me.. lol, mind you at least we had the old mahy's course..

did you see how much the old B&Q building was used ? it was always very busy .and the youngsters were so very well behaved as well .
i hope this new development will be used as it should but like everything the minority will spoil it for the majority
