Leale's Yard redevelopment begins

One corner of Guernsey won't be the same again. Site work has begun at Leale's Yard for the construction of 16 new houses on Lowlands Road.
It's just a small part of a planned development of the eight-acre site. A planning application was made almost a year ago for a mix of retail and 150 local market homes.
If consent is given, it's hoped to start work on the project next year.
