48yr old 'world's first gender-free person'

A 48-year-old has reportedly become the first person in the world to be
officially recognised as gender free.
According to The Sun, Norrie May-Welby was born male in Paisley,
Scotland but had a sex-change operation to become female in 1990.
Later, May-Welby - who has lived in Australia from the age of 7 - opted to
become a "neuter" after deciding that they were also unhappy as a woman.
May-Welby said: "The concepts of man or woman don't fit me. The simplest
solution is not to have any sex identification."
The authorities last week put the sex-free categorisation, believed to be the
world's first, on May-Welby's birth certificate.
A spokesman for UK's Gender Trust welcomed the solution and said: "Many
people like the idea of being
