"Free Boats" to Herm Island from Guernsey begin this weekend, as our Christmas shopping trips get underway. Herm Island in conjunction with Travel Trident offer the following service over the next four weekends http://bit.ly/Xmasshopping2010. The Herm gift shops are packed to the rafters with excellent ideas for Christmas gifts for all of your family and friends. On Sunday 28th November, Saturday 11th and Sunday 19th December, between 1pm and 4pm, Mya Roberts will be on Herm Island to autograph copies of her latest children's fantasy book

The Mermaid Tavern will be open throughout the Christmas shopping trips, serving its usual range of excellent drinks, lunch, and Tom's own recipe of mulled wine. It maybe cold outside, but the fire will be glowing to welcome you in for some hospitality "Herm style".

Why not make a weekend of it, and stay for a couple of nights in one of our Holiday Cottages. They sleep up to six people, and cost £200 for up to three nights during the Christmas shopping weekends and we'll welcome you in with a free bottle of Champagne.
