Harbour fees hike would hit ferry fares
CUSTOMERS could be forced to bear the brunt of a 3.5% harbour charge increase if Public Services’ proposal is accepted, Condor’s managing director has said.
Simon Edsall said the ferry company would have to wait and see if the department would go ahead with the rise as the proposal was out for consultation.
But if the 3.5% increase was accepted passengers could be forced to pay higher fares.
‘Obviously this rise would be above the level of inflation so it’s a direct cost we would have to bear,’ he said. (from GEP)

This represents about 50p per passenger.Doesn't sound a lot but start adding it all up!Even if you never go out, don't smoke, drink or drive they will still get you when you flush!
