The first ever Waitrose supermarket on the island opens tomorrow.

The store, which is the food branch of John Lewis, begins business on the island for the first time at 8am in St Saviour.

The shop is on La Rue des Pres at the former Checkers store site.

It is the first Waitrose shop to open outside of the UK.

indeed thistle - im sure they will. I will be there having a good mooch...but like Kat my loyalty is with alliance and the coop.
