Taxi owner is critical of double closure
A TAXI company owner has accused the Environment Department of poor coordination and planning after it closed two major routes to the airport.
Both Route des Blicqs, St Andrew’s, and Les Caches, St Martin’s, have been closed since Monday causing huge delays.
Bruce Lambourne, who owns Lambourne Taxis, claimed the traffic build-up has caused many problems for his drivers.
But Environment has defended its decision to close the roads, claiming it had a lot of requests for repairs.(from GEP)
