Guernsey Pubwatch back after sorting data law issues
PUBWATCH is set to relaunch in time for Easter after almost a year’s suspension to tackle data protection issues.
The aim of the body is to help to reduce alcohol-related crime by issuing bans from participating premises to disruptive, aggressive or antisocial drinkers.
Chairman Tony Le Marchant was delighted it was up and running again.
‘The scheme has been worked on by the Home Department and other agencies for almost a year,’ he said.(from GEP)
