600-pound woman aims to be world's heaviest

There is so much pressure nowadays to stay thin - from obesity reports to the media's obsession with how female celebrities look.

Donna Simpson, 44, cares about her weight - but she wants to get heavier rather than thinner. Residing in New Jersey, she currently weighs 43 stone, which is more than 600 pounds. She eats 12,000 calories a day and spends $750 (£461) a week on food.

Remarkably, in 2007, Donna had a child with boyfriend Philippe Gouamba, and in doing so became the world's heaviest mother at 38 stone (532 lb). Now she wants to break another record - to become the heaviest woman in the world. She's working towards a goal of 1,000 pounds (72 st), and even has a website where people can watch her eat.

Why....Why would anyone want to do this ?!?!

this is so sad does she realise she could kill herself ,what about her young child .

ah well i dont feel quite so fat now lol ..surely she must realise the dangers of being this obese x
