Body of man found in Guernsey hotel

A police investigation is underway in Guernsey following the discovery of the body of a man in a hotel bedroom.

Police were called to La Trelade Hotel in St Martin late Saturday afternoon.

The man was in his 30s.

Police are treating the death as unexplained and local authorities have been informed.

The man's name will not be released until relatives have been contacted.
