All Channel Islands fast ferries cancelled on Wednesday
Condor Ferries has cancelled fast ferry sailings to and from the Channel Islands on Wednesday.
The cancellation follows several days of disruption to ferry services because of strong winds and rough seas.
Condor said the conventional ferry sailings would go ahead on an amended schedule.
But a Condor spokesperson said: "With winds in the English Channel gusting up to 85mph these services are also likely to suffer delays."
He said: "All affected passengers are being notified of the cancellations and schedule changes by personal phone call and text message."
Extra staff have been brought in to tell passengers about the changes.
The forecast for the Channel Islands on Wednesday was for strong to gale force winds to continue, and rough or very rough seas.
