Fencers descend on Fort Regent

More than 200 young fencers are clashing swords this week at Fort Regent as Jersey play hosts to the Commonwealth Junior Fencing Championships.

Competitors have travelled from as far as Australia, New Zealand and Singapore for the five-day event.

Guernsey has 21 competitors taking part in the week long event, whilst Jersey has four.

The event is being stage at the Queen's Hall.
