Hundreds of school pupils in Guernsey will be learning about safety and how to deal with emergencies.
The Safety Calling Challenge will see children learning about personal safety, plus dealing with hazards in and out of the home, and on the road.
The annual event will also see Year Six pupils practising making 999 calls to Cable and Wireless operators.
Health Promotion Manager Yvonne Le Page said the new skills would help children ahead of moving to secondary school.
The campaign will be held over eight days.

Brilliant Idea... it could save a life!

Hopefully it will mean the end of the hundreds of corpses littering our streets.

Good idea but as has been said it should be common sense , but nowadays there is not much of that. We were taught road safety at school you must remember the green-cross code.
