Arson probe after l'Ancresse fires
Fire crews were scrambled to two gorse fires in Guernsey tonight (Thursday).
The alarm was raised at 8.45pm when two areas at L'Ancresse were found alight.
One was 10 metres by 5 metres, the other 15 by 10.
Both fires at the top of Bunker Hill are now under control. Two fire tenders fought the blaze.
The police were also called to the scene. The cause of the fires is not yet known, but arson is not being ruled out.
