Neptune Collonges and Daryl Jacob struck late to deny Sunnyhillboy victory in a dramatic Grand National at Aintree.
The 33-1 shot emerged victorious in a photo-finish to give trainer Paul Nicholls his first victory in the race.
Sunnyhillboy and Richie McLernon looked set for the win before Neptune Collonges grabbed it on the line.
Katie Walsh finished a superb third on Seabass with Cappa Bleu and Paul Moloney in fourth.
There was drama ahead of the race when last year's winner Synchronised parted company with jockey Tony McCoy on the way to the start. The pair were reunited and started the race but fell at Becher's Brook on the first circuit and the horse suffered a fatal injury.
