Guernsey's Beaucamps High School cost millions, now taxpayers can see what they have got for their money at a special open day on Saturday the 17th of November.

Staff, students and members of the project team will be there to answer questions.

Development of the school building is just the start of the project. Contractors have demolished the old school to make way a swimming pool, sports hall, outdoor sports facilities, parking and landscaping. That work should be complete in just over a year from now.

Visitors will be able to see what a 21st century high school looks like. It will be open from 1.15pm to 4pm, but there is a warning - parking space is extremely restricted at present. Additional parking will be available at Castel Primary School and Les Beaucamps can be accessed by bus routes 5S, 5AS and 3. Visitors could also park at the coast and walk up to the new school.
