The old Pickled onion
Hello All,
Newbie here, I am wanting to know if anyone knows of the previous name of the Pickled onion.
It as at the very bottom of St Julians Avenue and was latterly Charlies bar. I am not old enough to recall he name before it was the Pickled onion ( no really i'm not). Anyone with info please reply, Thanks.

it was also the royal arms but cant remember if that was before or after it was the pickled onion..used to spend many a saturday night in there ..it was a great bar for a singalong with don leech at the piano..this was in the days before karaoke lol xx

Thank you Thistle, I do seem to remember it being the Royal Arms.The last incarnation i recall was it being Charlies Bar and it still had a piano in it as i recall, Cor blimey they were the days eh! Thanks again.
