Hotel closes down in St Peter

A WELL-KNOWN Jersey hotel that has been welcoming guests for decades has closed its doors.
Les Charrières Country Hotel in St Peter’s Valley has ceased trading and a ministerial decision published recently shows that the owners are not seeking re-registration under the tourism law for 2015.
Economic Development Minister Lyndon Farnham, a former president of the Jersey Hospitality Association, said it was always a shame to see well-known local hotels closing down.
