St Pierre Park sell off? Empty St Pierre Park sell off?

Post by GD Tue 15 Jul 2008, 9:38 pm

Channel Television understands Guernsey's St. Pierre Park Hotel could be sold in the next few weeks.

The ageing hotel has been on the market since last Autumn. The news comes after current owner Sandpiper denied all knowledge of an application made to the Environment Department to extend the hotel.

In 2003 the hotel was granted permission to build a casino at the site... but previous owners C.I. Traders decided to stop the development in 2005. (from Cionline)

Its needs to be taken over and sorted out, the once "Top" rated hotel in Guernsey is looking so tired and run down...

The hotel never actually planned to build the casino they only applied so they could have the license so no other place could build the casino

They have recently signed a contract with a UK firm to refurbish the place.
