Another big fire in Jersey !
People living near Bellozanne in Jersey have been evacuated from their homes after a gas cylinder caught fire. The area has been cordoned off and a 200m (656ft) exclusion zone is in place because of fears of an explosion. Firefighters at the scene are spraying water onto the cylinder to try to keep it cool. The exclusion zone, which includes the Bellozanne incinerator, recycling site, workshops and seven houses is likely to remain in place for several hours. Fire station manager Michael Baudains said it would be a long process and firefighters will be on site all day. He said the service will review the cordon later to see if it can be reduced. It is not known whether people living nearby will be able to return to their homes. No-one has been injured.
