The Wayside Cheer Hotel has entertainment every Friday and Saturday night, mainly aimed at the over 45s as much of the music is 50s 60s 70s ect.

Went to Wayside for lunch today , it was great Thistle had the beef i had the
Turkey ,plenty on the plate and was very tasty . The staff were great
with the very happy barman. :-) All for just over £20 so cant be bad. Well done Wayside and your staff.

The staff we have at The Wayside are the key to the places success, we get more comments about the staff (all Good) than anything else, The food has always been good and now we have 3 chefs, we are able add a few extra special meals to the specials board so Monday - Saturday there are always a few extra meals on the board, at this time of year local Fish, Crab and Lobster are usually available.

And the Steaks are as good as anywhere in the Island, I recommend the Ribeye.

Friday Nights are Music with Singer /Guitarist Chris Wilkinson, in the Bar theres a small dance floor there, we have a Meat Draw and Bottle Draw as well.


If eating Bar meals start at 6.30 - 9.00 (best to Book) and the Music starts at about 9.15-9.30 and goes on til midnight, the bar is open until 12.45.
