The Venture Inn

Well is it any good?

The Wife and I have had 2 great meals at the Venture Inn during the past few weeks and I have noticed while there that everyone seems delighted with the food, which is harly suprising as Jez has always had a reputation of good food and good value.

I had the Fish and Chips which were excellent and the only place I know where The Mushy Peas are the real deal, not tinned processed rubbish.

The wife had Liver and Onions the first time and Scollops the second time, she said both meals were perfect.

Give the Venture Inn a try, you wont regret it.

Went on Tuesday Night with some friends, One is a Vegetarian and is a bit fussy but I knew Jez would be able to accomodate him and he did admirably, he had Deep Fried Brie for starters and a Spicy Thai Green Curry for his Main Course and Oven Baked Rice Pudding for Dessert

The other meals were Fish & Chips, Fillet Steak and Liver and Onion with Deep Fried Mushrooms Starter and Bread & Butter Pudding for Dessert.

Jez had a large selection of Veg to offer and as well as the main menu theres a great selection of specials.
