Guernsey delegation travel afar

so our dear cm is off on his travels at the taxpayers expense yet again.do we really want to forge closer links with china imo no we don't.these are the people who abandon their disabled children ,has a bigger carbon footprint than anywhere else in the world i believe. pays pennies to slaveworkers making cheap clothes for the world market.no freedom of speech. he should be worrying about the effects of global problems on this island instead of flying round the world.will he be back to attend the next sitting of the states.

A Guernsey delegation are leaving for the Far East next week to promote the islands fiduciary services.

The team will split their time between Hong Kong and Shanghai, highlighting how Chinese and high net worth individuals can benefit from expertise in the Channel Islands.

Chief Minister Lyndon Trott, will join the delegation in a fortnights time in Shanghai, meeting with the Chinese government and regulatory officials.

Mr Trott says the key message is that Guernsey's committed to forging strong relationships in China.

He's also looking forward to visiting the Shanghai operation of Specsavers. A shinning example he says of a Guernsey-headquartered success story on a global scale.

More tax payers money being spent on nothing , hasn't he just come back from there ? . I know that the rest of the States want him out of the way (so he can't do to much damage) but can't they send him to somewhere cheaper like Lihou island .

I think China is a good place for two thumbs.
