Finally, the multimedia guide to cooking testicles
If you’ve ever thought to yourself ‘I really fancy some testicles for dinner tonight’, then good news - thanks to the wonders of the internet and a Serbian ball enthusiast, you can now educate yourself about the world of testicle cookery.
The Testicle Cookbook: Cooking With Balls is an online, multimedia recipe book from chef Ljubomir Erovic, who wants to spread the word about the joys of eating balls.
Self-taught Erovic has twenty years experience of preparing, cooking and eating a wide range of testicles. He also organises the annual World Testicle Cooking Championship in Serbia, during which an entire tonne of testicles are served up by the world’s most talented ball-chefs. (The Championship was previously the victim of a cruel hoax related to kangaroo testicles. If you want a flavour of the World Testicle Cooking Championship, here's a video from the event. Warning: video contains light-hearted testicle-grabbing.)
The book notes that you will need a ‘very sharp knife’ if you want to embark on traditional testicle cookery techniques, and also advises washing your balls and letting them soak in water before cooking, to soften them up.
You may be relieved to know that Erovic cautions: ‘All testicles can be eaten - except human, of course.’
The Testicle Cookbook: Cooking With Balls is available from online publisher YUDU, for the reasonable price of £5.99.
Well that will be different for Sunday Roast.... : pink lol :
