Would you stay or would you go?
If Obama and the eu introduce wide ranging regulations which basically meant a end to off shore banking/Trusts.etc etc ,would you stay in Guernsey ?
With banking and finance being the main employer the effects of the economy would be passed down to almost every business with mass unemployment and some considerable debt.
For those who would leave, what country would you go to ?
For those who would stay, how would you obtain a income ? And what would you consider to be a good income in these circumstances ?

Re: Would you stay or would you go?
I would stay as I feel after the initial problems among people with negative equity in property (which would drop like a brick) etc sorts its out and the island finds new ways of supporting its new standard of living, the Island would be a better place to live.
What we have to ask ourselves is, if we had not been given the Golden Goose of finance 30ish years ago would we still be here? and the answer is yes, so if they go will we survive?, of course one way or another.
