What the fooks going on with it now? Its 98p a litre now. Its cheaper to drink petrol by the litre!!!

I think that milk is good value for money when you think of what you pay for a can of coke or lager or almost any other drink.

I know that its cheaper in the UK but it is subsidised.

I thought the only milk subsidie in the UK now were for supplying milk to schools.
Market forces drives the price otherwise I thought

The European commission pays a subsidy for school milk and schools can choose whether to apply for this scheme. A larger proportion of schools in the north of England and in deprived areas participate in it than in the south

There is no other subsidy for milk in the UK
