States could tap dormant accounts
Money left in unused bank accounts in Jersey could be used to help fund public services.
A report for the States said that a significant number of account holders forget about or lose track of their bank accounts.
It is thought that there could be hundreds of thousands of pounds in unused accounts.
James Mews, States director of Finance Industry development, said a cut-off point would be 15 years (from BBC News)
