Today was the first time i had been here for a good many years to eat....
The place is all nicely refurbished ...and looking great...

We had prawn cocktail to start....that was lovely....

We then had fillet Steak...
My husband chose diane sauce with his and i had mine plain...

I have to say i wasn't overly impressed...the steak was very chewy and had no taste...

Hubby said his sauce was lovely but his steak was also tough...

The Chips were like cardboard...i was expecting so much more...

Would i go back again....yes...but i wouldn't have the steak....or chips....

Went last night. Food excellent. Beer Sheizer. Nuff said.

The food is average, but it's still one of my favourite local pubs. The public bar is excellent on matchdays if your a Manchester United fan, just cant beat standing in there drinking and going absolutely nuts.

But yeh, there are so many better places for food.

I've never had a good meal in there ever and I see that they have the irish guy working there that went to prison for stealing when he worked at Christies.
