Went up there here today to meet some old friends, and I have to say the Management could not do enough to ensure the meeting went well, They had put aside a special meeting area, and were there to cater for all the needs required, food looked and tasted good too

yes......we were made very welcome...we didn't eat there but the food looked really nice....will go for lunch next time....

Went there today the food was great . Wayside asked the chef to make a special Gluten free meal for Yvette which was Chicken with homemade Chips , Peas and a homemade Tomato Sauce . Thistle had a Ploughman's and i had an all day breakfast. The service was good and wayside made a point of asking if everything was OK.

How sad it is to see that this Venue is to close, I feel sorry for Ken that all his hard work has failed...

There is no doubt about it Wayside worked very hard to try to make a go of it and asked for sugestions and kept us up to date of what was going on so fair play to him. Best of luck in your next project Wayside ,and we will see you down the "Wayside".

such a shame the ranch is closing.i had peeps stop their car yesterday and ask for directions.

I know i feel the same...its sad to see it close...Sorry Wayside ...

Thanks for the comments folks to be honest I will be glad to get this week over with and should have shut it down ages ago, yesterday we had the worst day ever £93.50, this weather is a killer for the place and there does not seem to be the visitors about, also the Bus Drivers seem to have boycoted us, and the tour operators so not much I can do but pack it in.

I kept hoping for one of them freak Tornados to flatten the place :-)

Once I am out of The Ranch I will be trying to get the furniture shop back into profit and the wifes hotel, The Wayside Cheer Hotel is doing OK so I will get back into the entertainment again down there.
