Rustbucket Rally goes to Munich Oktoberfest

Rustbucket Banger Rally goes to Munich Oktoberfest 2009. This year we will be leaving Guernsey on 27th September until 4th October which is the last day of the beer festival. You will then make your own way back, either by flying, train back to St Malo and ferry. The trip will last 7 days. We will be traveling through the French, Italian,and Swiss Alps. Orlean, Chamonix- Mont Blanc France, Italy, Lake Lucerne Switzerland, Innsbruck Austria, ending up with two days at the Munich Beer festival.
This is going to be a trip you can't afford to miss. All cars will have a theme of your choice although we would like to try to keep it a Bavarian theme to get in the mood. Cars must cost £500 or less and there will be a registration fee of just £200 per car with the option of having up to four people in the car. We have decided that all money raised this year will go towards the Vale school appeal to try and raise £37,000 for their new playground equipment. this is why we are asking each person to raise a minimum of £100 each sponsorship so we can raise as much as possible. This is a no frills rally and we will keep the cost as low as possible. Most people chose to camp last year but as the next rally is a little later in the year you may wish to book a hotel. We will try and provide you with names of hotels who will give special rates to make it easier for you. More details will be added as soon as we get them. The new website will be up and running soon so you will be able to register on line. Don't leave it too long as there will be limited spaces. First come first served. Hope to see you all there its going to be a blast. And its going to help our own local children.
