Safety group backs school campaign.
A
campaign for improved road safety outside the Forest School in Guernsey
is being backed by the pedestrian safety group, Living Streets.
The group's chairman, Deputy John Gollop, says the building of Le
Rondin School and the enlargement of a nearby garage has made the road
far more dangerous.
He says something must be done in the area to provide a safe crossing point for parents and children.
Is he right what do you think ?

Re: Safety group backs school campaign.
Put the traffic lights back - they always worked - either that or close all roads and ban motorised transport and be done with it - because that is what it will come to eventually!!!! We will have a whole generation or two of people who will be unable to cross the road/blow their noses/etc etc on their own, and as for going out into the big wide world where there are are more dangerous things to contend with - because it was never allowed!!!! I am frankly tired of 'groups' telling the rest of the Island what to do and what not to do......it is bad enough opening the paper every day and finding another set of 'these shall be obeyed' rules being rammed down our throats.......
Looks like my answer if NO
