Staff cuts warning at flower firm
A Channel Islands business is cutting its staffing costs by 15%.
Jersey-based Flying Brands has 65 employees in Jersey and about 150 in the UK.
It said it was consulting with staff to decide if it will cut jobs or salaries and said it was hoping to make the savings by the end of June.
The firm started in the 1980s, growing carnations in Jersey, but developed into a home shopping business exporting carnation bouquets across the UK.
