Air route licensing system is to be liberalised
Guernsey's air route licensing system is set to be liberalised in the hope of improving the service for passengers.
At the moment, airlines which want to fly to and from the island must follow a lengthy and opaque licensing system.
Now the Commerce and Employment Department want to streamline the process.
But a full "open skies" policy isn't on the cards
About time...

Re: Air route licensing system is to be liberalised
By the time the States decide that it would be a good idea to open up the skies, there will be no-one that will want to come here! It will be too late......
Early decisions are needed, not sitting on the fence pontificating.... waiting for time to pass by and hope that someone else deals with the problem....
