Bonfire Displays in Jersey
The Farmers Inn, St Ouen, Thursday 5th November The bonfire is going to be lit at 8pm and the fireworks begin at 20:30. There's a disco, BBQ, bean crock and mulled wine. Tickets are £6 for adults and £4 for children. Parking is available at Checkers and the Parish Hall.
The Farmhouse, St John (formerly L'Auberge du Nord) Thursday 5th November Starts at 18:00, the bonfire is going to be lit at 19:00 and the fireworks begin at 19:30. Food available. Tickets £5 for adults £3 for children with all the proceeds going to the Teenage Cancer Trust.
Moulin Du Lecq, Friday 6th NovemberFood is being served, BBQ and bean crock are available. Those who eat between 18:00 and 19:00 get into the display for free. There's going to be a marquee with live music and warming mulled wine served at the bar. The bonfire will be lit at 20:30 and the fireworks kick off at 21:30. Get tickets at the Smugglers Inn or White Label Record in St Helier. £5 for adults and £3 for children. The charity being supported this year is the Royal British Legion Poppy Appeal and special guests will be the Chelsea Pensioners dressed in full show attire.
Les Creux Country Park, La Moye, Saturday 7th November7 Overseas (Jersey) Squadron, is holding The Best Family Bonfire & Fireworks display at Les Creux Country Park.
Site opens at 18:00, Bonfire Lit at 18:15 & the Fireworks display is at 19:30. Although there will be parking, we would encourage people to be environmentally friendly and walk where possible to the event. Connex are providing additional buses from Liberation Station and from Les Cruex at the end of the display.Food will be available.
Tickets can be purchased from all branches of Pound Magic. They cost £4.00 each, (under 5s go free), fast track entry for ticket holders. Tickets purchased on the night will be £5.00.
In the event of bad weather please call our Voice Messaging Service on 662566 after 16:00 for information. The display will be postponed to Sunday 8th or Saturday 14th, if necessary.
St Martin's Bonfire, Saturday 7th November The main charity they are supporting is the Holidays for Heros Jersey. It will be on the Parish field opposite St Martin's School and will begin at 18:00. (from CTV)
