Flu vaccine offered to everyone in Guernsey

The swine flu vaccination has been made available to all in Guernsey by the Health and Social Services department.
Doctor Stephen Bridgman, Director of Public Health, said anyone in the island could now request a jab against the H1N1 virus through their doctor.
However, those who were not classed as in the higher risk category would have to pay for the vaccination.
The higher risk category includes those with medical conditions, the elderly and pregnant women.
Doctor Bridgman said there were sufficient stocks of the vaccination to offer it to all and doctors surgeries would be able to advise patients how much they are charging for the jab. (from BBC)
