Change of date for 2010 Siam Cup
The date of the 2010 Siam Cup has been changed because of Jersey Rugby Club's ongoing success in the National Three London League. The annual clash between Jersey and Guernsey was originally scheduled for the 24 April in Guernsey. However Jersey RFC are likely to be involved in a National Three semi-final against the South-West on that date. The fixture has consequently been re-scheduled for Saturday, 1 May. Jersey RFC are currently out in front in the National Three London League table, having won 16 of their 17 games. The Siam Trophy is the second oldest rugby trophy in the world after the Calcutta Cup. In 2009, Jersey were comfortable winners, beating the Sarnians 34-6. |
