Guernsey Police statistics show drop in crime
An early release of Guernsey Police statistics shows an encouraging drop in crime in the Island.
A full review of Bailiwick crime levels is expected in the next few months but police have just announced a drop in reported offences of around 11%.
House Burglaries, offences of assault and criminal damage are down too, with Police claiming the positive trend looks set to continue.
I not sure wether these facts are true, or is it that people can not be bothered to report crimes any more, because they feel it is a waste of time?
