Islanders win Gold at Chelsea

Years of patience and hard work have come off as both Guernsey's and Jersey's exhibitions have been awarded the coveted Gold Medal at the Chelsea flower show.

It's the ultimate event in the gardening year showcasing finest examples of horticultural excellence in the world.

The competition was as ever tough, the judges famously not settling for anything less than perfect.

The Eric Young Orchid Foundation are taking their sixth Gold medal back to Jersey.

For the Guernsey Clematis Nursery the trip to Chelsea is an annual event - It's their eighth medal in succession adding to previous accolades. (from CTV)
