Gordon Ramsay 'freaks out other chefs'

Gordon Ramsay has admitted that he can cause other chefs to "freak out" when he eats in their restaurants.

Speaking to TV Times about his new Channel 4 show Ramsay's Best Restaurant, he revealed the effect he sometimes has.

"They do freak out a bit," he said. "I don't mean to put the fear of God into them and I play it simple with my order because I understand the pressure they're under."

However, he added: "But I do get a bit p*ssy when it's 30 minutes and my starters aren't on the table."

The 43-year-old also confessed that he receives "a lot of flak" for his bluntness in the US.

"They get precious and angsty because I get straight to the point. I get a lot of flak, but listen, that's me; that's the way I am," he said.

"For as long as I cook I'm never going to change that."
