Civil servants' pay revealed
New figures show Guernsey's best paid civil servants are taking home as much as £131,000.
The States has released details of its employees' pay in line with an agreement to do so each year.
There are 2038 so-called "established staff" working for their island on a wide range of salaries.
340 are on senior officer grades earning anything from £43,148 to £130,940.
Nearly half of the established staff are ranked as executive grade, which entails a salary between £27,508 and £43,122.
There are 383 staff on administrative assistant, clerical assistant and equivalent grades on £13,710 to £25,935.
Personal assistants and typists make up just under a hundred staff and earn between £13,782 and £33,594.
There are a further 253 staff on other grades.
Civil servants will be getting a 1.5% pay rise from January after a year in which they received no pay rise at all. (from CTV)
