All write on the night!

Writers in Guernsey are being invited to Louder Than Words - a Guernsey Arts Commission workshop where local playwrights can learn some tricks of the trade.

The Commission say the workshop will 'de-mystify' the basic principles of plot structure, character and dialogue, and will show how to create powerful, exciting scripts for stage.

At the helm is experienced writer and director Rikki Beadle-Blair. His writing career has included works for television, film and stage, with his film and subsequent stage play FIT winning a London Film Festival award. Rikki is also an actor and director so brings with him a wide variety of experiences from both sides of the script.

The Commission say 'Louder Than Words' is suitable for all levels or writers from beginners to more experienced writers who are looking for a refresher session. The event is on Sunday 5 December between 10am - 4pm. Spaces are limited and it will cost £35 to register - there are some concessonary rates.
