Time up on Guernsey Athletics

Guernsey's newest GFA Football Team has ceased to exist.

Guernsey Athletics was set up in 2008. The Club was struggling to recruit and retain players.

It has decided to merge with struggling division one team Rovers, who will now be called Rovers Athletics.

Their players from Tics have been encouraged to join the new team but some have already gone elsewhere.

Tics had some success in the short time in the game winning the Stranger Cup and taking part in the first Clydesdale Bank International Football tournament.
