Christmas Tree Festival at Guernsey Town Church

Guernsey's Town Church will once again be hosting a Christmas Tree Festival in the run up to Christmas.

32 local charities have been invited to decorate a Christmas Tree in a way that highlights the work they do - and also shows off their creative skills.

The Festival will run between Thursday 9th December and Sunday 19th December, and the Church will be open every day to visitors between 10am and 4pm, except Sundays, when it will be open from 2pm-4pm.

Representatives from each of the various charities will be on hand to welcome visitors and talk to them about their charities.

A central donation point will be in the Church, and all donations will be shared equally between the charities at the end of the Festival.

The Town Church hopes that many people will catch the generous Christmas spirit, and support the hard work local charities in the Island do. (from CTV)
