Teen Cancer want bed in Southampton
A NEW Guernsey branch of a teenage cancer charity is campaigning for permanent beds in Southampton General Hospital for young sufferers.
Teenage Cancer Trust Guernsey, which is dedicated to helping local teenagers cope with the disease, will be officially launched on 16 February with a jewellery sale at Catherine Best.
Chairman Jay Aylmer (pictured) said its first mission would be to raise £100,000 for a permanent bed in Southampton.
‘We want to get across that our focus is completely on Guernsey teenagers,’ he said. (from GEP)
