As the Police have just spent almost £500 000 on 3 armoured cars and we are not allowed to know why for matters of "National Security" (Dep Stephens), I thought it might be fun to come up with our own reasons.

Dep Stephen's admitted it on the phone in today, The Home minister phoned in to say he could not talk about it.
Apparently the new police chief said they were needed incase a taxi driver goes on a shooting spree.
All said by politicians on BBC.

Maybe you could make a case for 1 BUT 3!Plus the special training!
Based on the nutty taxi driver scenario you could make a case for a battery of surface-air missiles in case an Aurigny pilot goes amok!
Where will this madness with OUR money end!

On a lighter note.Maybe Supertrott has told the police he's intending introducing GST @20%?He'll need an armoured car then!
